Working with Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture UG students at Edinburgh College of Art, exploring how walking art practices intersect with architectural theory and methodology. This was my first time working with over 70 participants, coordinating multiple simultaneous walks across different sites around Edinburgh. I drew inspiration from the format of a points based ‘alleycat’ race to send participants on an unknown treasure hunt. We explored the use of Design Quality Indicators, art scores and awareness practices in understanding psychogeography. Huge thanks to all the students who took part and braved a very wet and windy Edinburgh.
