As part of our residency with Art Walk Projects in the summer of 23 we collaborated with Foraging Gardener aka Johana Koen! Hana lead the School on an urban foraging walk exploring their research in Queer ecologies as well as educating us on what's edible in our local parks! We read from Robin Wall Kimmerer's Breading Sweetgrass and explored scores for sustainable foraging and queering plant taxonomy.
