LeithLate began as a one night celebration of Leith in 2011. Operating as an unincorporated association with a voluntary committee for eight years, LeithLate transitioned into a charity with the help of a Shadow Board in 2019 and officially became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2020.
For the 2023 program the SoPC returned again to the walking route developed in 2022 with the support of the CRC facilitating a discussion around the purpose and role of PBSA in North Edinburgh and its effect on local communities.
